About Me
I'm Sarah, a freelance graphic designer from Buckinghamshire, UK. I have been designing for years and love every second, from planning out the client brief to presenting the completed design.
I am passionate about environmental protection and have been working towards making my processes as sustainable as possible as well as helping businesses stand out from the crowd by creating innovative strategic designs.
I am always amazed at how Design, done the in the right way, can share the same message worldwide. I am excited and eager to help share your message through visual creative design that will drive sales and help build customer loyalty.
My Journey
My journey towards being a designer began around age 6 with a blank piece of paper and pencil, I never looked back. My love of art, colour, drawing and designing has flourished over the years which has led me to my current freelance role as a designer and my company Purple Wand Designs.
I started using the Adobe suite in college while studying photography, since then I have built up my expertise using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design as well as a host of other Adobe programmes to enable me to create impactful digital designs and illustrations.
My journey as a freelance designer started with designing logo's for various businesses and markets. After a while I began to realise that making a single logo for my clients may not be enough to make them successful.
To make a company successful they need instant recognition, to get that they need a Logo. However, a company also needs customer and workforce loyalty, consistency, values and a message. For this they need a Brand Identity, as a Logo alone cannot hold up a company and make it successful - I am passionate about turning ideas into memorable brands using strategy to ensure that a business will stand out from the crowd for the right reasons.
In my spare time I love reading, drawing and I am an avid wildlife photographer. I enjoy spending time with my family and our mischievous cocker spaniel Pepsi as well as countless hours playing Minecraft with my Son.
